Medical Equipment Support -2023

The Koodu Trust made a significant contribution by donating a wheelchair and air Mattress to the Wings of Thiruvambadi Charitable Trust ,Thiruvambadi Ayyankolly The Nilgiri’s. The Wings of Thiruvambadi Charitable Trust is dedicated to providing vital medical services free of charge, including oxygen cylinders, hospital beds, adjustable beds, wheelchairs, and various other essential medical equipment. Their mission is to assist individuals who are unable to access these resources due to financial constraints, particularly in the regions of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

 

Koodu Trust has a  supporting the efforts of the Wings of Thiruvambadi Charitable Trust, and  recent donation of a wheelchair is another testament to their commitment to this cause. This support plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those in need of medical assistance in these two states.

Drawing competition

Koodu Trust recently conducted a drawing competition for children. Children from various age groups participated and showcased their creativity through their artwork. The competition aimed to encourage children to express their imagination and creativity through art. The winners were awarded prizes and certificates of appreciation.

Life Skill Training

Koodu partnered with several learning & training partners to offer life skills to young children. These skills will help the young children to navigate through the practical world. We partnered with Kaleidoscope organization from Kerala to deliver these training programs to the children. Children were trained on Yoga, communication and writing skills.

Tutor Training Program

Koodu Trust offered a tutor training program to enhance the skills of volunteers in our student development centres. The program aims to equip tutors with effective teaching techniques and strategies, as well as help them understand the learning needs of their students. By participating in this program, volunteers developed their tutoring skills, improved their ability to engage with students and enhanced the quality of education provided to them.

Livelihood Project

Koodu Trust’s Livelihood Program provides sustainable livelihood opportunities to beneficiaries by offering free goats. This program is aimed at helping marginalized communities become self-sufficient and improve their living standards. By providing free goats, Koodu Trust aims to empower beneficiaries with the means to generate income through the sale of milk, meat, and offspring. This program has been successful in enabling beneficiaries to lead a sustainable and dignified life.

Blanket Distribution

Koodu Trust’s Free Blanket Initiative offers free blankets to tribal communities to help them stay warm during the winter months. The initiative aims to provide relief to marginalized communities who lack access to basic necessities. By distributing free blankets, Koodu Trust hopes to improve the living conditions of these communities and ensure their well-being. This initiative has been successful in providing much-needed warmth and comfort to those who need it the most.
